I have been feeling the need lately for a little extra boost in the morning. The cornflakes is just not cutting it! After browsing on Pinterest one morning I stumbled across 8 high protein and high nutrient smoothies to try for breakfast or an afternoon pick-me-up snack.
Here is the delight for this morning:
- 1 orange
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 cup 100% pure pomegranate juice
- 1 tsp chia seeds powder
- Blend until smooth and serve. Makes 2 cups of smoothies – good for one breakfast or two snacks.
